PUEBLO WEST - Seventeen-hundred Black Hills Energy Customers were in the dark for about an hour and a half because of a fire that destroyed a circuit according to a company spokesperson.
Black Hills leaders say the power went out around 8 pm Saturday night. By 9:30 pm enough progress had been made on repair work to restore power to some customers while others remained without power according to the spokesperson.
She tells NEWSCHANNEL 13 she doesn't know much about the fire that sparked the problem, only that the it spread to the damaged circuit and did not originate there.
Company leaders say power should be restored to the customers still in the dark soon.
