PUEBLO - More than 300 jobs are on the way to Pueblo as a long time call center expands.
Convergys has announced they'll hire close to 200 full time employees and more than 100 part time workers beginning now. They'll pay for training and hope to have their staff ready for a new client by January. Director of Operations Ray Mason would not name the new businesses sparking the need for the additional help but says most full time new hires will be setting up and selling vacation packages. The jobs range from entry level to management posts.
"We're very excited by this opportunity to bring additional jobs to the community of Pueblo and also excited because we're able to grow this center," said Mason.
Convergys has been doing business in Pueblo for two decades. In September they celebrated their 20 year anniversary in the Steel City.
The company will hold a job fair on Monday at their office on Northern and Orman Avenues. It will be open from 9 am until 6 pm. If you can't make but would still like to apply you can follow this link to their website.
