DENVER (AP) - A stretch of Interstate 70 east of Denver and Highway 24 from Calhan to Limon has been closed because of blowing snow.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says I-70 between Air Park and Limon is closed because of poor visibility.
Colorado 86 from Kiowa to Limon and U.S. 24 from Limon to Calhan are also closed because of the weather.
Much of the eastern half of Interstate 70 is closed because of blowing snow.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says I-70 is closed from Bennett to Burlington near the Kansas border.
In northern Colorado, Interstate 25 from Fort Collins to the Wyoming line is also closed because of closures in Wyoming.
Independence Pass has also been shut down for the winter about a week before its regularly scheduled closure date.
