CRIPPLE CREEK - Road crews have re-opened Highway 67 in Teller County.
It was closed for more than three hours due to an eight car wreck prior to 7 o'clock Sunday night.
Problems began with an icy stretch near mile post 53. Two buses lost control because of the icy conditions leading to six more vehicles running off the road trying to avoid the buses. One of those cars rolled over but emergendy responders tell us there were no major injuries. One of the two buses was a Ramblin Express which typically shuttles players from all over Southern Colorado to Cripple Creek.
The highway was reportedly shut down for hours to allow snow plows to spend a good amount of time on problem areas.
