Highway 50 Re-Opens After Semi Crash & Fuel Spill

FREMONT COUNTY - Colorado State Patrol tells NEWSCHANNEL 13 that Highway 50 is back open between Swissvale and Howard.  That's near Salida in Fremont county.

The highway closed around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday after a crash between a semi-truck and a pick-up truck.  That crash caused a fuel spill which had to be cleaned up.  The highway re-opened around 7:20 p.m.

The extent of injuries or cause of the crash is not known at this time.
