DENVER (AP) - The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for parts of 2 counties Thursday after radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a twister.
It was the fifth day in a row for severe weather along Colorado's Front Range.
The weather service advised residents to take cover in areas including Byers, Deer Trail, Jolly Ranch and Shamrock. The warning issued until 3:15 p.m. MDT covered southeastern Adams and eastern Arapahoe counties.
Earlier warnings that covered other parts of Arapahoe, Douglas and Elbert counties were allowed to expire.
There were no immediate reports of confirmed tornadoes or damage.
The National Weather Service also said one-inch diameter hail could be expected with the storm.
